Services

Interior Design

From conceptualization straight through to completion, from a small furniture refresh to a large-scale renovation, I am interested in the whole gamut! Taking cues from the period of the home and my client’s specified requirements & wishes, my design proposals are refreshing, detailed and distinctive. I provide a unique vision for your space, clear steps on its implementation and a path to its full execution.

Consult & Look Book

Over a one hour, in person or virtual consult, I will gather information on the needs, wants and wishes you have for a room in your home. By taking a collaborative approach, you receive design insight and direction at an accessible price-point. After the consult I will provide you with a detailed look book that outlines a design proposal for your space; including material resources, renderings, furniture layout, colour palette, furnishings,
art & accessories.

Interior Styling & Merchandizing

Starting a pop up shop or just in need of a new living room layout? Hire my services for the day and I can help with everything from developing a cohesive story to art direction & styling.

A lover of food and drink, travel, gathering around the table, candle light, good music and dancing in the kitchen, Rebecca took a circuitous route to finding her career in the world of interior design. Starting out with a degree in environmental studies, followed by a stint in the world of advertising in the UK & Toronto, she then moved onto film sets, dabbling in set decoration and props, before taking a gamble and going back to school, full time for design. While in school she landed a role designing custom furniture and sourcing product for a leading, high-end furniture retailer in Toronto. After several years of building a professional network, Rebecca and her husband decided it was time to take a larger leap and pursue a life in the country. Five years on and she and her family have settled in South Western Ontario, close to the lake, surrounded by farmer’s fields. They spend the fall and winter months in Southern Ontario and the spring and summer months at their fly-in fishing resort in the far north of Ontario. Finding a rhythm between the two worlds, while running her own design studio is an invigorating challenge that keeps Rebecca inspired, motivated and on her toes.

Within her work, be it residential, hospitality or commercial, Rebecca always keeps sustainable practices top of mind and allows them to help inform her choices when building a narrative for each individual project. No matter the budget or scope, Rebecca prefers to source local, vintage, custom, and small scale whenever possible. She sees herself as an advocate for each project and client, pushing to create refreshing spaces that reflect the needs and personalities of each unique client. She believes that making our homes and the rooms we live our lives in, work for us and cater to our individual needs and tastes, is integral to improving our day-to-day and overall well-being. Rebecca regards design not as an indulgence but as an important aspect of our lives and our very individuality. She likes to discover what her clients love and to help cultivate and reflect it in her client’s spaces.
